I attempted to marker this, but ended up putting it in the paper shredder. I have never been so angry at a piece, nor have I ever failed so far beyond comprehension.
Normally when I do marker work, I print out six or seven 'dummy copies' to test colours and combinations on (much like how when colouring digitally, my pieces usually go through six or seven colour realignments as I work); I didn't do that with this piece, because my intent was to just be super crazy with it, forgetting my understanding of colour is based in entirety around "getting it wrong fifty times until something looks passable".

There will never be a post this whiny again! just SUPER PISSED ARG

There are actually probably 8 or 9 more pages of this, but since it's on larger format paper, it's enormously difficult/painful to scan (especially with HEADQUAKE 2010)- I'll keep updating this entry as I scan them though! it's all really silly/feels more Babar canon than I ever expected it to, and I will (ideally) return to finish the whole story when Richard does his.
